Mumbai: Passive investing strategies — which involve parking money in index or exchange traded funds – are gaining popularity among investors who want to eliminate stock-selection risks in a volatile market. The lower asset management charges on these products make them appealing to the cost-conscious savers. In addition, global investors are taking this route to gain exposure to Indian equities.
